Possible fic? Based off of Infinite’s The Chaser mv. I’m not sure I’m going to finish or not but take a look anyway? Lmao.
The car rolled, twisting and turning, the metal in the body rupturing and becoming jagged knives as it continued its descent down the lonely hill. The sharp metallic ripping mixed with the gentle tinkle of shattering glass in a symphony of disaster. Blood smeared across the surfaces that were left of the vehicle, the occupant of which was screaming and praying to any God that he would survive the terror and destruction that the car was making. Rain poured against the vehicle with a tapping sound that only added to the cacophony, blood red mixing with brown mud. With one final broken screech of mechanical malfunctioning and tearing metal the car rolled to its final smoking stop, wheels up, a trail of metal and glittering glass showing its path.
Among the wreckage a single pale hand, splattered with warm droplets of blood, provided a soft moment in the hard, cold landscape. A pair of deep black eyes stared vacantly at the sky forever looking into the blue. There was a dull thud in the following silence. A tarnished skeleton key fell from seemingly nowhere, bouncing off the still hand before lying in the dirt.
Sungyeol woke with a sharp pain in his chest, his hands in death-grip on his white sheets. He sat up quickly, the burning in his chest receeding even as his heart rate accelerated. Wresting the sheets from his cold fingers, Sungyeol wiped a stiff, shaking hand across his sweating forehead.
He’d had premonitions before—small blurry ones where the details were obscured like looking through a glass brick—but never one in such vivid, horrific detail as this. He blinked rapidly, eyes flying to the clock on his nightstand.
3:45am.
It wasn’t clear how much time he had, but Sungyeol knew that the fire in his chest wasn’t just from those chili cheese tacos he had eaten earlier. It was from something much deeper, something that tugged at the core of his being. He had to save this person. Somehow he knew that he couldn’t let this vision come true.
You aren’t supposed to change the future. Something about messing with the time-space continuum and altering history. Sungyeol shook the doubt out of his mind and placed a cooling hand to his chest.
He had to save the man in the premonition. It was a matter of life and death.
And not just for the victim of the crash.
